Qatar to Participate in RSSF Asia-Pacific Forum in Riyadh
Doha, December 02 (QNA) - The State of Qatar is set to participate in the Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific (RSSF Asia-Pacific), slated to convene in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from Dec. 3-5, 2024.
HE Director General of the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority (GRSIA), Ahmed bin Ali Al Hammadi, will lead the State of Qatar's delegation at the forum.
Through its participation GRSIA intends to promote its leading stature in social security and put the spotlight on its outstanding experience, in terms of adopting innovative systems that aim to achieve social justice and financial sustainability.
The forum's agenda features a wide diversity of panel discussions and workshops on economic challenges faced by the Asia-Pacific region, in addition to best practices to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as the role of education in advancing future skills. The new initiatives and final recommendations will be submitted in the final session.
Organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA), the forum is a triennial and a premium platform devoted to sharing expertise and conferring on future challenges in the field of social security and insurance protection.
Additionally, this participation is an invaluable opportunity to share expertise with the nations of Asia-Pacific region and highlight the pioneering experiences in governance and innovation.
Participants are poised to discuss essential topics that include innovation on social security systems, enhance operational efficiency and explore enduring solutions for financial and social challenges facing retirement systems. (QNA)
